Base Salary
$85k - $105k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and advance technology for an evolving product.
- Work across programming languages and technologies and select appropriate tools for each problem.
- Collaborate with teams, vendors, and disciplines to gather requirements and create actionable technical plans.
- Take loosely defined problems from concept through finished implementation.
- Research and prototype solutions using academic whitepapers or emerging standards where formal documentation is unavailable.
- Contribute to architecture and technology decisions with a senior technical team.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of Linux experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with an MVC framework such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.
- At least 3 years of JavaScript and Node.js experience.
- Strong self-direction, curiosity, and ability to learn new domains with minimal guidance.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional work.
- Preferred: at least 2 years of C++ experience for native UI development.
- Preferred: at least 2 years of Java experience.
- Preferred: cloud development experience, including enterprise-level Kubernetes.
- Preferred: experience with low-level or embedded hardware, broadcast technologies and standards, or distributed systems such as clustering, CRDT, and eventual consistency.
