Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and deploy a large fleet of Linux servers.
- Research and implement new technologies and solutions or build improved alternatives.
- Connect hardware and software systems.
- Monitor system performance and manage capacity.
- Investigate technical incidents and solve ad hoc technical problems.
- Engineer a new cloud experience and support disciplined technology evolution.
Requirements
- Experience composing infrastructure-as-code for a modern environment.
- A software developer mindset, including building tools when necessary.
- Knowledge of virtualization, networking, and Linux kernel internals.
- Ability to communicate clearly, ask the right questions, and defend viewpoints.
- Responsibility and ownership over the assigned technical domain.
