Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and decision-making for large, release-defining projects impacting the cloud platform.
- Design and implement capabilities across networking, the control plane, and managed service infrastructure, primarily for billing systems.
- Solve complex mission-critical system problems with scalable, maintainable, and resilient solutions.
- Partner with Product Management to translate customer and business requirements into technical solutions.
- Investigate and resolve difficult production and development issues.
- Debug and fix billing data synchronization issues.
- Contribute to data visualization dashboards.
- Mentor and guide engineers on system design, coding standards, and architectural best practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience developing and debugging system-level software in Golang or a similar language.
- Familiarity with distributed systems managed via Kubernetes.
- Ability to design and build highly reliable, high-performance system software.
- Experience in environments where performance, scalability, and reliability are critical.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred: experience building cloud-native SaaS platforms.
- Preferred: experience with frontend web frameworks such as React.
- Preferred: background with cloud-based metering and billing and generally accepted account practices.
