Responsibilities
- Design and run research programs addressing cost-efficient inference, signal classification, hallucination detection, and sequencing policy.
- Build evaluation frameworks that measure agent trajectory quality rather than only final outputs.
- Develop agent memory, retrieval, and context systems.
- Translate research findings into production infrastructure with measurable impact.
- Help define the future research agenda for applied AI in enterprise revenue systems.
Requirements
- Experience thinking about how agents fail in production, beyond benchmark performance.
- Experience building evaluation systems and understanding where standard approaches break down.
- Ability to write code, implement research ideas, run experiments, and ship production systems.
- Strong research instincts and ability to move quickly in a continuously changing environment.
- Relevant experience in agent evaluation, behavioral benchmarking, retrieval-augmented generation, knowledge graph systems, reinforcement learning for real-world agent behavior, production ML systems, latency, reliability, observability, post-training, or model adaptation.
- A PhD is not required.
