Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver LLM-based and retrieval-augmented generation solutions.
- Build and maintain enterprise knowledge bases with vector search for semantic retrieval.
- Develop LLM applications using LangChain, prompt engineering, chaining, and orchestration patterns.
- Integrate Model Context Protocol or equivalent model interaction frameworks.
- Architect secure, scalable solutions across AWS, Cloudera, and Databricks ecosystems.
- Develop and maintain APIs and microservices supporting AI applications and frontend integrations.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, operational, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and optimize model performance, reliability, and scalability in production.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to translate business needs into AI solutions.
- Contribute to technical design discussions, mentor junior engineers, and promote engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Requires 8–12 years of software engineering experience focused on AI/ML and distributed systems.
- Requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong Python proficiency and experience building scalable backend systems.
- Experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks for user-facing AI applications.
- Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks such as LangChain and RAG-based systems.
- Expertise designing knowledge bases with vector search and working with embedding models.
- Strong AWS experience and familiarity with Cloudera and Databricks.
- Understanding of system design, APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Preferred experience with Model Context Protocol or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
- Preferred experience with vector databases such as PGVector and GraphDB.
- Familiarity with MLOps, monitoring, lifecycle management, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience in highly regulated, large-scale enterprise environments is preferred.
