Base Salary
$256k - $320k/yr
Responsibilities
- Set technical direction and demonstrate security excellence through hands-on delivery across multiple security domains.
- Design, build, and ship agentic platforms, agents, skills, tooling, controls, and automations for application and infrastructure security, identity, privacy, governance, and risk.
- Deliver production features and security controls at a rapid pace while automating previously manual work.
- Advise engineering leaders and executives on secure design and security-business tradeoffs.
- Mentor and develop builders across security and privacy job families and raise the organization’s technical bar.
- Partner across the company to accelerate development and delivery through effective security capabilities.
Requirements
- Proven software engineering depth building, operating, and leading major production services at scale.
- Hands-on experience delivering production or open-source software through agentic development and shipping code weekly.
- Experience building foundational security controls and automations with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, Python, and Golang.
- Broad ownership across security functions at organizations with more than 1,000 users, with deep expertise in security engineering, AI development, and application security.
- Deep command of cloud and infrastructure security, identity and access management, cryptography, and data protection.
- Ability to quickly develop expertise in unfamiliar security domains and use agentic development to reduce classes of risk.
- Experience building on cloud-native infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes.
- Track record of mentoring engineers who became technical leaders.
- Strong technical judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and communication skills for aligning leaders without formal authority.
Benefits
- Starting U.S. base salary range is $256,000-$320,000, with equity and additional medical and financial benefits available.
- Hybrid work culture requires onsite attendance Tuesday through Thursday each week, with additional onsite attendance possible based on business needs.
