Base Salary
$174k - $267k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own feature areas end to end, including technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-launch monitoring.
- Design, build, and ship secure, scalable, reliable, and performant production features across the OIG system.
- Deliver bug fixes and address customer-reported issues.
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and uphold a high engineering-quality bar.
- Partner with Product Development, QA, and Site Reliability Engineering teams on development and deployment work.
- Influence technical alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders without formal authority.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with independent ownership of complex production features.
- Experience architecting and delivering large-scale distributed systems for enterprise customers.
- Deep expertise in microservices, event-driven architectures, APIs, and data modeling at scale.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Kotlin, Go, or equivalent JVM/cloud-native languages.
- Experience designing systems for enterprise reliability, scalability, security, multi-tenancy, high availability, audit logging, and RBAC/ABAC.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Preferred experience with identity, access management, governance, workflow engines, approval or routing systems, enterprise SaaS platforms, cloud infrastructure, and observability tooling.
