Responsibilities
- Perform secure development work in partnership with engineering teams.
- Run and review security scans across applications, code, dependencies, containers, infrastructure, and supporting systems.
- Identify weaknesses, triage findings, and recommend practical remediation steps and security improvements.
- Integrate security checks into the software development lifecycle and delivery pipelines.
- Track recurring security issues and recommend process or technical changes.
- Work directly with development teams to drive security improvements.
Requirements
- Experience with secure software development practices.
- Familiarity with security scanning tools for code, dependencies, containers, or infrastructure.
- Ability to assess security findings and communicate remediation guidance clearly to developers.
- Working knowledge of common application security risks and secure coding principles.
- Experience automating security checks in delivery pipelines, vulnerability management, or remediation workflows is desired.
- Applicants must be eligible to handle export-controlled information or obtain required U.S. Government authorizations; eligibility may include U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, or asylum/refugee status in the U.S.
