Responsibilities
- Design RESTful APIs according to the OpenAPI 3.0 standard.
- Develop and configure APIs using IBM z/OS Connect Designer.
- Expose CICS transactions and Db2-based services.
- Participate in the modernization and integration of core mainframe applications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
- Apply development best practices, version control, and deployment practices.
Requirements
- Experience with IBM z/OS Connect Designer.
- Experience using Visual Studio Code.
- Knowledge of Docker.
- Experience designing APIs with OpenAPI 3.0.
- Knowledge of Gradle.
- Experience using Git.
- Knowledge of IBM z/OS is desirable.
- Experience with COBOL, CICS, and Db2 is desirable.
- Experience in legacy application modernization or systems integration projects is desirable.
