Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, enhancement, testing, deployment, and maintenance of complex full-stack software applications using .NET, C#, React, JavaScript, HTML, and RESTful APIs.
- Translate functional requirements into secure technical designs, reusable components, data-access patterns, interface contracts, estimates, and implementation plans.
- Troubleshoot complex production defects, perform root-cause analysis, remediate technical debt, and improve application reliability, maintainability, performance, and response times.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for pull-request validation, linting, builds, automated testing, artifact packaging, deployment, and release verification.
- Apply secure development practices including code reviews, vulnerability remediation, secrets management, access controls, dependency management, audit-ready change controls, and automated quality gates.
- Use Azure services to host, deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and scale enterprise applications using telemetry and monitoring data.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, product owners, and cross-functional teams to resolve blockers and deliver solutions in Agile environments.
- Mentor developers, conduct peer reviews, establish engineering standards, and provide technical guidance for application operations, maintenance, and modernization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least six years of progressively responsible experience in software development, web application development, and application operations and maintenance.
- Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining full-stack web applications with C#, current .NET platforms, React, JavaScript, HTML, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications through production troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, defect remediation, performance optimization, and technical-debt reduction.
- Experience establishing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with automated builds, code-quality checks, unit and integration testing, packaging, deployment, and release validation.
- Working knowledge of secure software development, vulnerability remediation, secrets handling, access controls, dependency management, and change-management controls.
- Ability to meet Public Trust suitability requirements and U.S. citizenship requirements.
- Preferred experience with Azure App Service, Azure Key Vault, application monitoring, telemetry, and cloud application deployment and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Azure Data Lake Storage, including structured and unstructured storage, hierarchical namespaces, access controls, and analytics integration.
- Preferred Azure Developer Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or comparable cloud or DevSecOps certification.
- Preferred experience with infrastructure as code, containerized application delivery, observability tooling, and AI-enabled coding tools used with appropriate review and security controls.
