Base Salary
$132k - $242k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define and drive long-term security architecture and strategy across cloud, infrastructure, application, platform, and operational security.
- Own Alkira’s HackerOne bug bounty program, including triage, severity assessment, remediation coordination, and researcher communication.
- Provide technical leadership for Kubernetes, container, Linux, and cloud security, including workload protection, hardening, and runtime security.
- Lead security architecture reviews and establish secure design, implementation, and deployment standards for cloud-native systems.
- Drive threat modeling, risk reduction, vulnerability management, proactive security assessments, and security automation.
- Build detection engineering and security monitoring on the Coralogix observability stack.
- Lead security investigations, incident response, post-incident improvements, and the security-alert on-call rotation.
- Design scalable security controls, automation, and engineering frameworks.
- Partner with senior engineering and business leaders, mentor security and engineering teams, and establish governance models and technical standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, infrastructure security, or cloud security roles.
- Deep expertise securing large-scale cloud-native environments, distributed systems, and modern application platforms.
- Advanced Kubernetes security expertise covering workload protection, container security, platform hardening, and runtime security.
- Expert-level Linux administration, hardening, automation, troubleshooting, and system-level security experience.
- Ability to write production-quality automation and tooling in Go, Python, or a comparable language.
- Experience across cloud security, application security, infrastructure security, identity and access management, and security operations.
- Extensive experience with threat modeling, risk assessments, vulnerability management, and security architecture reviews.
- Ability to lead technical strategy, influence executive stakeholders, and drive security outcomes across large engineering organizations.
- Preferred experience securing SaaS, cloud infrastructure, networking, or platform engineering environments.
- Preferred understanding of DevSecOps, software supply chain security, Infrastructure-as-Code security, and CI/CD security controls.
- Preferred experience designing cloud security architectures across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Preferred experience building security automation, detection engineering, monitoring, and incident response capabilities.
- Knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, and related security frameworks.
- Preferred experience leading cross-functional security programs and large-scale security transformation initiatives.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, CKS, or cloud security certifications are preferred.
- A master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical discipline is preferred.

- The salary range is $132,232-$242,425 USD in base salary, with the actual amount determined by role-related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and location.
