Base Salary
$129k - $148k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain software that improves Neuron compiler performance, stability, and usability.
- Build compiler optimization and verification passes and expose AWS accelerator capabilities to developers.
- Implement tools to analyze numerical errors and resolve the root causes of compiler defects.
- Collaborate with chip architects, runtime and OS engineers, scientists, ML application teams, customers, and open-source communities.
- Participate in architecture and design discussions, code reviews, and bringing new compiler features to market.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience with compilers or building machine learning models using ML frameworks on accelerators such as GPUs.
- Experience with OpenXLA, StableHLO, and MLIR is a bonus.
