Base Salary
$172k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop containerized microservices for a distributed, multi-tenant system processing real-time events, data, and network telemetry from public clouds.
- Design, architect, implement, deploy, and operate critical features and subsystems across the full software development lifecycle.
- Write primarily in Go and work with data pipelines using SQL and other interfaces.
- Own code quality and perform developer, functional, and integration testing.
- Mentor junior engineers, new graduates, and interns.
- Partner with Product Management and stakeholders to refine requirements and understand customer problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent degree; a master’s degree is a plus.
- At least 4 years of experience building distributed and scalable software and systems.
- Experience with Go, SQL, REST API clients, and a Unix/Linux programming environment.
- Extensive API- or programming-level experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience delivering containerized services, preferably on Kubernetes.
- General TCP/IP networking knowledge.
- CloudFormation, Terraform, and Ansible experience are nice to have.
- Networking and security controls experience is a plus.
