Responsibilities
- Design and implement data science and AI solutions from defined requirements.
- Apply machine learning and data science techniques to analyze data and solve business problems.
- Build, test, deploy, and maintain machine learning models in production.
- Contribute to scalable and maintainable MLOps pipelines.
- Develop end-to-end observability and monitoring for AI solutions.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams and communicate technical findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Apply responsible AI principles and support governance and compliance requirements.
- Mentor junior data scientists and engineers and share technical knowledge.
Requirements
- Must be eligible for security clearance.
- Proficiency in Python and C#.
- SQL or R experience is a plus.
- Experience with cloud AI services such as Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, or GCP Vertex AI.
- Hands-on experience with scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Practical knowledge of regression, decision trees, random forest, XGBoost, k-means, anomaly detection, and time series forecasting.
- Understanding of model evaluation and explainability concepts including overfitting, bias, and cross-validation.
- Experience implementing observability and monitoring for AI systems.
- Experience working with large, complex, or messy datasets.
- Understanding of public-sector challenges, data, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
