Base Salary
$130k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Document, maintain, and validate the solution technical baseline and manage solution intent.
- Connect mission capabilities and technical enablers to Marine Corps Enterprise Network compliance rules.
- Guide solution architectures to ensure interoperability across portfolios.
- Identify and design infrastructure, security, and platform enablers for future capabilities.
- Collaborate with program managers, Release Train Engineers, and Enterprise Architects to align technical solutions with strategic goals.
- Assist with PI and multi-PI technical roadmaps.
- Refine backlog items and ensure they meet quality definitions before PI Planning.
- Provide daily data preparation and administrative support to the Lead Solution Architect.
- Translate architectural concepts into actionable backlog structures.
- Decompose capabilities, map dependencies, and maintain technical runway visibility.
Requirements
- Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as engineering, mathematics, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, information technology, or information systems from an ABET-accredited program is required.
- A master’s degree is highly preferred.
- At least 14 years of experience in research, design, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs, or 10 years with a master’s degree.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in IT systems architecture, engineering, and integration, including substantial support for USMC, Naval, or DoD enterprise environments.
- Professional or academic experience applying programming concepts and modern software development methodologies such as agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps.
- Cybersecurity Workforce IAT Level III or higher compliance is required.
- Certified SAFe Architect or equivalent is highly desired.
- SAFe Solution Train Engineer or Practice Consultant, CISSP or CISM, Microsoft Azure architecture or DevOps certification, enterprise networking certification, DoDAF or TOGAF training, INCOSE CSEP, Zero Trust training, DevSecOps certification, or CDMP credentials are preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 15% outside the local area.
