Base Salary
$250k - $350k/yr
Responsibilities
- Prototype quickly and ship continuously to integrate products into scientists' workflows.
- Build agentic products and interfaces using frontier models and scientific data.
- Design collaboration methods for scientists and AI agents in experiment planning and analysis.
- Work with model researchers to improve product behavior and model performance.
- Own the product end-to-end, including data models, APIs, and user experience.
- Engage with scientists to identify workflow bottlenecks and develop solutions.
- Help define the product engineering culture at Periodic Labs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Experience in product engineering or software development.
- Strong understanding of AI and its application in scientific workflows.
- Ability to prototype and iterate based on user feedback.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with scientists and engineers.
