Responsibilities

  • Run evaluations on site data to predict autonomous performance and validate release readiness.
  • Debug issues across hydraulic sensors, compute hardware, onboard code, offboard code, and high-level behavior.
  • Collaborate with Partnerships to identify customer sites aligned with the product roadmap.
  • Provide technical feedback to engineering teams to influence future autonomous systems.
  • Lead customer discussions about site progression, system integration, and performance optimization.
  • Make high-stakes technical decisions onsite to minimize downtime.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a technical role focused on keeping critical onboard and offboard systems operating smoothly.
  • Proficiency in Python, Rust, C++, and Linux, with experience using version control and deploying code in live environments.
  • Strong understanding of robotics systems, including sensor fusion, computer vision, motion planning, controls, and embedded systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems and CAN bus communication using industry debugging tools.
  • Experience with data visualization and analytical tools for converting raw logs into performance metrics.
  • Hands-on experience with deployed robotics is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time to customer sites across the United States.
  • Strong onsite decision-making, communication, adaptability, and customer-facing skills.
