Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-quality software at scale.
- Participate in the full software lifecycle, including production support and continuous integration.
- Contribute to the technical direction and solution design of the team.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to other developers.
- Conduct code reviews, automated testing, debugging, and continuous improvement of CI/CD practices.
- Collaborate with internal Sky teams, external vendors, and Comcast colleagues in the US.
Requirements
- Commercial experience with Golang.
- Experience building and supporting production software systems.
- Experience with code review, automated testing, debugging, and continuous integration.
- Ability to write maintainable, performant, and well-structured code.
- Experience continuously improving CI/CD in an agile team.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn across the stack.
- Desirable experience with TypeScript, AWS cloud services, serverless architectures, containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, MySQL or similar relational databases, observability and operational tooling, and solution design.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; coursework combined with experience or extensive related professional experience may also be considered.
