Base Salary
$179k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the C++ application comprising the software component of SiFive’s custom hardware emulation framework.
- Build high-performance, multithreaded C++ applications using modern language features and best practices.
- Help improve the speed, debugging productivity, and cost-effectiveness of FPGA-based emulation for RISC-V core IP.
- Collaborate with FPGA RTL designers, compiler developers, and RISC-V software and hardware developers.
- Contribute to the next generation of hardware emulation capacity for software development and hardware/software co-design.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering.
- At least 7 years of experience building complete C++ applications.
- Expertise with modern C++ language features and best practices, including C++20 and newer.
- Strong understanding of C++ concurrency features and demonstrated experience building multithreaded applications.
- Self-directed work style with strong oral and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with compiler development, ideally LLVM or MLIR, or FPGA RTL design is highly desired but not required.

- Base pay range of $178,848.00-$218,592.00, with potential variable or incentive compensation and/or equity.
