Responsibilities
- Analyze customer behavior at scale and develop metrics for personal digital assistants.
- Build and implement machine learning, deep learning, and policy-based learning algorithms for customer-facing applications.
- Develop and deploy automated model training and evaluation pipelines.
- Conduct model and data analysis, including online A/B testing and error or deviation analysis.
- Research and implement novel approaches for conversational AI and RAG systems.
- Own production ML systems, participate in on-call coverage, deploy fixes, and resolve high-severity issues.
- Collaborate with business, engineering, and science teams and communicate research findings to stakeholders.
Requirements
- PhD, or a master’s degree plus experience, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques.
- Experience building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business applications.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Java and deep expertise in machine learning frameworks.
- Experience with algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, or high-performance computing.
- Experience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders or managing teams.
- Preferred qualifications include several years of machine learning or algorithm development experience, data-focused analytical work, top-tier publications, and error or deviation analysis experience.
- Fluent English communication skills and strong organization and attention to detail are preferred.
Benefits
- Minimum gross base salary of 68,000.00 EUR annually for full-time work in Turin, Italy, with part-time salary prorated.

- The role is classified at level 7 or above depending on skills, competencies, and experience.
