Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend software applications using Java.
- Create new features, capabilities, and software modules to enhance product functionality.
- Participate in technical discussions, solution design, architectural decisions, estimation, and project planning.
- Investigate, document, and resolve software defects while improving system stability and performance.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, product stakeholders, and distributed team members.
- Write clean, maintainable, efficient code and support application optimization, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancements.
Requirements
- Professional experience developing backend applications using Java 8 or newer.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design practices.
- Knowledge of Java containers, class loaders, data structures, streams, concurrency, and multithreaded programming.
- Understanding of SQL, relational database concepts, client-side and server-side architectures, and JVM performance considerations.
- Experience with build and dependency management tools such as Maven or Ant.
- Preferred experience includes scalable enterprise applications, performance tuning, source control, automated testing, continuous integration, cloud technologies, and containerized environments.
