Responsibilities
- Define and lead functional safety concepts and safety architectures for automotive ECUs and HPCs.
- Drive cybersecurity architecture, threat analysis and risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, ASPICE, UNECE R155-R156, and other industry standards.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams on safety mechanisms, secure boot, intrusion detection, and secure communication.
- Perform and review FMEA, FTA, HARA, cybersecurity assessments, vulnerability analyses, penetration testing, and safety case documentation.
- Establish processes, frameworks, and tools for end-to-end safety and security lifecycle management.
- Mentor engineers and serve as the technical authority for safety and security topics across global, cross-functional projects.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in Automotive ECU Software.
- Bachelor of Engineering in Computers, Electronics, or a related stream.
- Strong background in automotive embedded systems, including ECUs, HPCs, middleware, and networking.
- Hands-on experience implementing functional safety under ISO 26262 and cybersecurity under ISO/SAE 21434.
- Proficiency in FMEA, FTA, HARA, TARA, vulnerability analysis, and penetration testing.
- Good knowledge of secure software development, cryptography, key management, and secure OTA.
- Experience working with Tier-1 suppliers and OEMs and managing safety and security compliance across domains.
- At least 3 years of experience in a lead or architect role.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
