Responsibilities
- Own the native iOS application using Swift and SwiftUI.
- Define and evolve application architecture and technical direction.
- Build investment, account, funding, portfolio, transaction, and financial-data experiences.
- Implement secure authentication, session management, local data handling, and mobile security protections.
- Collaborate with backend engineers on APIs, data models, and edge cases.
- Support unreliable networks, background execution, push notifications, and the application lifecycle.
- Ensure accurate financial information display and take responsibility for performance, stability, and crash rates.
- Manage App Store releases, including review requirements, privacy considerations, entitlements, and release quality.
- Contribute to product decisions and technical trade-offs in a fast-moving startup environment.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional iOS development or equivalent depth of experience.
- Strong commercial experience building and maintaining native iOS applications.
- Excellent knowledge of Swift and strong experience with SwiftUI, including understanding when UIKit is appropriate.
- Solid understanding of iOS architecture, application lifecycle, and platform capabilities.
- Experience with secure storage, biometrics, authentication, push notifications, background execution, code signing, and App Store distribution.
- Experience building applications where security, reliability, and data accuracy are important.
- Strong debugging and performance-profiling skills.
- Experience taking ownership of an application rather than implementing only individual features.
- Ability to work with ambiguous requirements and communicate in English with senior technical stakeholders.
- Preferred experience in fintech, banking, brokerage, payments, investment, trading, order-management, KYC, onboarding, portfolio, financial-account, market-data, mobile-security, or high-volume consumer applications.
- Preferred experience with push notifications, widgets, background processing, deeper iOS integrations, or international products.
