Responsibilities
- Design and build intuitive, responsive Power Apps canvas apps with reusable components, delegation-aware data access, and performance tuning.
- Design and implement scalable Power Automate cloud and child flows with approvals, error handling, retries, scheduling, event-driven processing, and high-volume patterns.
- Implement Dataverse tables, relationships, keys, calculated and rollup fields, business rules, and security models covering roles, teams, business units, rows, and columns.
- Integrate Copilot Studio agents, AI Builder models, and prompt-based actions into canvas apps and Power Platform solutions.
- Integrate applications with external systems and Microsoft 365 services through standard and custom connectors, Power Automate, and APIs.
- Apply Power Platform ALM using solutions, environment variables, connection references, pipelines, and Azure DevOps.
- Troubleshoot and performance-tune apps, flows, and Dataverse; support testing, UAT, deployment, releases, documentation, and handover.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and developers, and guide junior developers on the team.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of overall application development experience with a substantial recent focus on Microsoft Power Platform.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps canvas apps, Power Fx, reusable components, responsive design, collections, variables, delegation, and performance optimization.
- Strong experience designing scalable Power Automate workflows, including error handling, child flows, approvals, and long-running or high-volume processing.
- Proven Dataverse implementation and security-model experience, including tables, relationships, alternate keys, calculated and rollup fields, business rules, roles, teams, business units, and row- and column-level security.
- Working knowledge of integrating Copilot Studio, AI Builder, or equivalent AI capabilities with canvas apps and Power Platform solutions.
- Experience integrating external systems and Microsoft 365 services through connectors and APIs.
- Understanding of Power Platform ALM, governance, licensing, DLP policies, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Good client-facing communication skills for requirements discussions, demonstrations, and explaining design decisions.
- Preferred experience with model-driven apps, Power Pages, Power BI, Copilot Studio agents, PCF components, JavaScript, C# plug-ins, Azure Functions, Azure integration, Dataverse migration tools, Dynamics 365, consulting or global delivery environments, presales, reusable components, accelerators, or practice IP.
- Preferred Microsoft certifications include PL-400, PL-200, PL-600, or AI-102.
