Responsibilities
- Operate and troubleshoot GKE and Kubernetes clusters, including node health, networking, and application deployments.
- Provision and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible.
- Build and improve Helm charts, Argo CD ApplicationSets, and GitHub Actions workflows.
- Investigate incidents using logs, metrics, and health checks, with safe changes, validation, and rollback plans.
- Secure access to GCP services, secrets, and container registries.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and improve system stability and performance.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes workloads and understanding Linux servers, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and TLS.
- Practical experience managing infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible, including reviewing plans and managing changes across environments.
- Proficiency with Helm, Git-based delivery, Docker container build pipelines, Bash, and Python.
- Working knowledge of GCP, particularly GKE, IAM, and Secret Manager.
- Ability to communicate clearly during code reviews and incidents and explain technical trade-offs.
- Preferred experience includes large-scale multi-cluster systems, web-scraping environments, Cloudflare, HAProxy, Argo CD, Linkerd, Redis, PostgreSQL, Datadog, VictoriaMetrics, Python, Node.js, Rust, or Go.
