Base Salary
$96k - $169k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain event-driven Salesforce integrations that handle duplicates, late events, retries, partial failures, and production diagnostics.
- Develop inbound REST APIs, outbound callouts, Apex, LWC, Flow solutions, and partner data applications.
- Design scalable Apex using bulk processing, governor-limit awareness, record-lock handling, and asynchronous processing.
- Protect personal and health data through appropriate sharing, object and field access, least privilege, secure execution contexts, and safe logging.
- Write automated tests, use mocks, address static-analysis findings, and review code from teammates, contractors, and AI tools.
- Deploy through Git-based automated pipelines, manage sandboxes and destructive changes, plan rollbacks, and keep Git synchronized with production.
- Triage production issues across integration boundaries and resolve root causes.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators, business analysts, data engineers, and product engineering teams.
Requirements
- Typically 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, excluding admin and configuration work alone, or equivalent evidence of delivering and supporting production systems.
- Strong Apex, SOQL, bulk-processing, asynchronous-processing, and automated-testing skills.
- Experience building REST or event-driven integrations that handle duplicate messages, retries, and partial failures.
- Ability to build and debug Flow and LWC solutions using modern JavaScript and ES6+.
- Experience with Salesforce data models, sharing, object and field access, Salesforce CLI, Git, and automated deployments.
- Ability to investigate production failures, review code, and explain technical decisions to business teams.
- Ability to use AI coding tools and verify their correctness, security, and maintainability.
- Preferred qualifications include trigger-framework and layered Apex experience, dependency injection, mocking libraries, customer-data or contact-center integrations, insurance or financial-services experience, consent and privacy compliance knowledge, and Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
