Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Own strategic projects and design scalable, low-latency, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
  • Design, implement, release, operate, and improve software across its full lifecycle.
  • Build cloud-first AWS solutions using services such as Lambda and Fargate while maintaining operational excellence.
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs and collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and internal customers.
  • Write clean code, review pull requests, conduct code reviews and technical assessments, and improve engineering standards.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical influence across multiple teams.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation and improve system fault tolerance, observability, and performance.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • Preferred: experience building web applications with React and modern web technologies.
  • Preferred: experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and SQS.
  • Preferred: experience building consumer-facing products at scale.
