Responsibilities
- Develop product-agnostic software solutions that optimize production efficiency and product quality.
- Design and implement hardware testing strategies and tools.
- Collaborate with software and production teams to improve automation and operational efficiency.
- Create and maintain documentation for testing procedures and tools.
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide product enhancement feedback to design teams.
- Conduct root-cause analysis to triage production, product, and process issues.
- Lead system architecture designs for technical initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Demonstrated strategic design of scalable system architecture.
- Familiarity with Linux, Git, and networking.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, collaboration, accountability, ownership, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant engineering master’s degree, hardware testing and automated test system experience, hardware-software integration knowledge, data analysis and performance monitoring experience, high-volume manufacturing experience, and familiarity with SQL/databases, C/C++, JavaScript, and Nix.
