Responsibilities
- Develop the robotics stack from low-level drivers and behavior trees through health management and software configuration.
- Implement data and telemetry ingestion from robots to the cloud.
- Build internal tools including teleoperation interfaces, robot fleet management, and data dashboards.
- Develop robotics autonomy pipelines for 3D mapping, localization, and autonomous navigation.
- Drive testing, developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, memory-safety practices, and architectural guidelines.
- Define hardware abstraction layers and subsystem APIs that support maintainable development as the team and hardware evolve.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in robotics, automotive, or aerospace.
- Strong modern C++ experience and experience with Python.
- Solid Linux fundamentals, including systemd, time synchronization, schedulers, and TCP/UDP networking.
- Experience debugging complex issues with core dumps, gdb, perf, and ftrace.
- Experience with unit-test and integration-test automation.
- Experience working with embedded platforms and sensor integration.
- Preferred experience with Rust, ROS2, Zenoh, hardware-in-the-loop testing, simulation-in-the-loop testing, NVIDIA Jetson, SLAM, point-cloud processing, control theory, or computer vision.
