Base Salary
$160k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement infrastructure features using Go, Kubernetes services, and open-source technologies.
- Build and scale cloud-native infrastructure for managed multi-tenant platforms and runtime environments.
- Develop and operate platform APIs, orchestration and federation services, resource management capabilities, metrics systems, and self-service user interfaces.
- Operate infrastructure in production and address reliability, scalability, security, automation, and observability needs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, the CTO office, stakeholders, customers, and users.
- Foster a technically outstanding, welcoming, and collaborative engineering environment.
- Contribute to open-source cloud-native solutions.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience working with an object-oriented programming language such as Go, C++, Python, or Java.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience operating infrastructure in production.
- Hands-on software engineering or SRE experience.
- Strong interest in building infrastructure with Golang and the Kubernetes ecosystem.
- Good communication skills for discussing ideas and solutions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-motivation, independent problem-solving ability, curiosity, and willingness to continuously learn and share knowledge.
- Preferred experience building and scaling container-based systems using Kubernetes.
- Preferred experience with authentication and IAM.
- Preferred experience building and operating SaaS or PaaS products.
- Preferred passion for reliable and scalable enterprise-wide infrastructure.
