Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, resilient infrastructure using automation and infrastructure-as-code.
- Improve platform reliability and streamline operational workflows through automation and tooling.
- Perform monitoring, threat detection, incident response, and maintain logging and alerting solutions.
- Contribute to offensive and defensive security strategies, including threat simulations and incident playbooks.
- Provide second-line support for complex infrastructure issues alongside first- and third-line teams.
- Coordinate zero-downtime deployments with Development teams.
- Participate in infrastructure research, proof-of-concept, and implementation projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Fluency in written and spoken English for daily collaboration with UK teams.
- Completed military service.
- General understanding of IT technologies and some experience with Windows or Linux.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Scripting and automation skills, preferably with PowerShell or Python, though other languages are welcome.
- Availability for scheduled rotational overnight and weekend work.
