Responsibilities
- Build and evolve Darkplane using TypeScript, Node.js, and Go across control-plane and analytics services.
- Design and harden systems for safely running untrusted code and supporting AI adoption in software development.
- Partner with AI engineers to make agentic workflows reliable and performant in production.
- Develop workflows, feedback loops, and guardrails that improve the trustworthiness of AI-authored code.
- Talk with customers and make product decisions based on their needs, adoption patterns, and business priorities.
- Own stability, identify technical risks, and maintain strong observability signals.
- Contribute to end-to-end product development, including frontend development.
- Mentor more junior coworkers when appropriate.
Requirements
- Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and Go, or the ability to learn them quickly with coding agents.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and production reliability.
- Data-modeling experience with relational databases such as Postgres and analytical stores such as ClickHouse.
- Experience building or operating agentic AI systems, LLM pipelines, or code sandbox environments.
- Proven end-to-end product ownership and ideation experience, including frontend development.
- Curiosity about customers, engineering-team workflows, and the adoption of agentic software development.
- Fluency with AI and agentic coding tools and sound judgment about when to trust them.
- Clear communication, independent execution, and strong documentation habits.
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry or observability tooling is preferred.
- Experience building analytical or experimentation platforms is preferred.
- Comfort mentoring more junior coworkers is preferred.
