Responsibilities
- Implement and operate Microsoft Azure cloud solutions across compute, networking, storage, and platform services.
- Set up and evolve Azure landing zones and cloud foundations.
- Provision and configure Azure resources using Bicep, Terraform, or ARM.
- Support application deployments and integrations across Azure services such as App Services, Functions, AKS, and data services.
- Build CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains using tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub.
- Support cloud security and identity concepts including Entra ID/Azure AD, role-based access, and network security.
- Troubleshoot operational issues across development, test, and production environments.
- Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and operations teams to implement architectural designs and standards.
- Create documentation, technical guidelines, and operational handover materials.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools and agentic development workflows, and help establish adoption patterns, guardrails, and best practices.
Requirements
- Practical experience working with Microsoft Azure in engineering or operations roles.
- Understanding of cloud concepts, virtual networking, identity, and security.
- Experience with automation and scripting using PowerShell or Azure CLI.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and version-controlled deployments.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub.
- Understanding of monitoring, logging, and cloud operational best practices.
- Fluency in German and English is mandatory.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, customer-focused environment.
- Hands-on mindset, structured and solution-oriented working style, strong communication skills, and willingness to continuously learn and earn certifications.
- Experience with Docker, AKS, or Red Hat OpenShift is beneficial.
- Basic knowledge of application or data architectures and exposure to security, governance, compliance, data, AI, or automation services on Azure are beneficial.
