Responsibilities
- Implement and operate Azure cloud solutions covering compute, networking, storage, and platform services.
- Set up and evolve Azure landing zones and cloud foundations.
- Provision and configure Azure resources using Bicep, Terraform, ARM, and other Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Support application deployments and integrations across Azure services such as App Services, Functions, AKS, and data services.
- Build CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
- Support cloud security and identity practices including Entra ID/Azure AD, role-based access, and network security.
- Troubleshoot operational issues across development, test, and production environments.
- Collaborate with solution architects and contribute to architectural standards, documentation, technical guidelines, and operational handover.
- Use AI-assisted coding tools and agentic development workflows, and help establish responsible engineering patterns and guardrails.
Requirements
- Practical experience working with Microsoft Azure in engineering or operations roles.
- Good understanding of cloud concepts, virtual networking, identity, and security.
- Experience with automation and scripting, such as PowerShell or Azure CLI.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and version-controlled deployments.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub.
- Understanding of monitoring, logging, and operational best practices in cloud environments.
- Fluency in German and English is mandatory.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, customer-focused environment and willingness to grow into more complex cloud and platform responsibilities.
- Experience with Docker, AKS, or Red Hat OpenShift is a plus.
- Basic application or data architecture knowledge and exposure to security, governance, compliance, Data, AI, or Azure automation services are advantageous.
