Responsibilities
- Design high-performing Java-based services in a complex system landscape.
- Conceptualize, design, and implement modern solutions based on Spring Boot.
- Contribute to the new technology stack while maintaining existing legacy systems.
- Accompany software projects from initial draft through production operation.
- Document software architectures and transfer technical knowledge.
- Coach and develop more junior team members.
- Participate in code and design reviews.
- Build CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and work with containerized and virtualized applications.
Requirements
- University degree, with a Bachelor's or Master's degree accepted.
- At least 3–5 years of proven professional experience in software development.
- Strong Java skills and knowledge of enterprise frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate.
- Strong database knowledge and SQL skills.
- Experience with Kubernetes or Docker and knowledge of virtualization and containerized applications.
- Experience with Git, Maven, and Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines.
- Basic knowledge of Linux.
- Enthusiasm for artificial intelligence and willingness to stay current with emerging developments.
- Good English-language skills.
