Responsibilities
- Support cryptography initiatives and secure-by-design outcomes across the Crypto Engineering team.
- Assess PKI certificate lifetime management and certificate operations.
- Assist with SSH key discovery and related control improvements.
- Contribute to HSM testing and validation activities.
- Provide input on post-quantum cryptography impacts and readiness.
- Perform technical analysis, debugging, and investigations into cryptography-related issues.
- Improve ways of working through automation and process enhancements.
- Collaborate with a small team of engineers to improve technical solutions.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of encryption, decryption, signing, certificates, and symmetric and asymmetric algorithms.
- Good working knowledge of Windows and Unix operating systems.
- Experience with infrastructure technologies including VMware, Windows and Linux infrastructure, databases, firewalls, and networks.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Python, Splunk, and Postman.
- Understanding of software release management and deployment tools such as GitHub and Jenkins.
- Working knowledge of databases, particularly Microsoft SQL.
- Understanding of Identity and Access Management, including RBAC and Privileged Access Management.
- Experience with service management processes and tools such as ServiceNow and change management using RFCs.
