Base Salary
$115k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Keystone PACS platform features.
- Work with DICOM data and imaging workflows for storage, transfer, viewing, and reporting.
- Build and support integrations with imaging modalities and practice management systems.
- Design services focused on high availability, scalability, performance, and observability.
- Own the quality, testing, and production readiness of developed software.
- Write documented code, participate in code and design reviews, and build technology prototypes.
- Identify and resolve performance, scalability, and production issues with the Support team.
- Collaborate with Product and Support to translate client needs into software solutions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with medical imaging, PACS, and the DICOM standard.
- Strong skills in a modern object-oriented language such as C#/.NET or C++.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Understanding of networking and client/server architecture.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote team.
- Preferred: experience with HL7, healthcare integrations, AWS or Azure, image storage at scale, 3D rendering, or advanced image viewers.
