Responsibilities
- Design and architect private and public cloud infrastructure solutions for customer workloads.
- Deploy, test, and hand over cloud solutions to support or managed services teams.
- Develop open-source Python code, including Kubernetes operators and Linux infrastructure-as-code.
- Work across the Linux stack, including kernel, networking, storage, and applications.
- Provide customer consulting, architecture presentations, training, and hands-on technical problem solving.
- Coach colleagues and contribute to a healthy collaborative engineering culture.
- Travel globally for internal and external events up to 25% of the time.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science or related software engineering expertise.
- Sound knowledge of cloud computing technologies including Kubernetes, OpenStack, AWS, GCP, Azure, and Ceph.
- Practical knowledge of Linux and networking.
- Intermediate to advanced Python programming skills.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills, reliable follow-through, continual learning, and willingness to work on new projects with customers.
- A second language is optional.
