Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical architecture authority for the platforms team and own reference architectures, design standards, governance, and architecture decision records.
- Administer and engineer Alteryx Server, KNIME Server or Business Hub, Windows and Linux servers, and cloud infrastructure, including deployments, upgrades, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and capacity optimization.
- Design platform integrations, SSO and identity architectures, service-account and secrets management, RBAC, security standards, certificate lifecycles, and audit logging.
- Build production-grade Python and PowerShell automation for provisioning, configuration, deployments, drift detection, health checks, credential rotation, and operational reporting.
- Own developer experience and onboarding for OpenAI API, Claude API, and approved agentic coding tools, including credentials, quotas, spend controls, documentation, templates, and reference implementations.
- Provide Tier 2 support, resolve complex incidents, manage vendor escalations, maintain technical documentation, mentor associates, and partner with identity, security, networking, infrastructure, and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or a related technical field is required.
- At least 3 years of systems, platform, or infrastructure engineering experience, including enterprise analytics or data science platform administration, cloud infrastructure ownership, and SSO or directory integrations.
- Experience acting as a technical design authority and replacing manual operational work with automation is required.
- Strong knowledge of Alteryx Server, KNIME Server or Business Hub, Windows Server, Linux, Microsoft Azure or AWS, identity and access engineering, database connectivity, TLS and certificates, vulnerability remediation, and REST APIs.
- Advanced Python and PowerShell scripting and automation skills, including API clients, administrative workflows, data reconciliation, and operational reporting.
- Experience with Git, Terraform or Bicep, CI/CD pipelines, Postman or curl, and log and trace analysis.
- Experience with enterprise AI or LLM platforms and APIs, including OpenAI API, Claude API, ChatGPT Enterprise, or Claude Enterprise, is strongly preferred.
- Preferred certifications include Alteryx Server administration, KNIME Server or Business Hub administration, Microsoft AZ-104 or AZ-305, AWS Solutions Architect, SC-300, or CompTIA Security+.
- Strong architecture, documentation, communication, problem-solving, mentoring, collaboration, adaptability, and English proficiency are required; familiarity with Azure DevOps, Confluence, and Microsoft 365 is expected.
