Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test tools and services for triaging customer feedback and applying corrections to third-party data.
- Solve workflow problems and implement enhancements across frontend and backend services based on business requirements, metrics, and user feedback.
- Establish operational metrics and continuously improve service performance.
- Maintain service documentation.
- Collaborate with in-house editors to understand workflows and improve everyday service usage.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a full-stack software engineer.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React.
- Proficiency in server-side development with Node.js, including Nest.js or Express.js.
- Experience with cloud services such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud, plus Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, client-side state management, asynchronous tasks, side effects, REST architecture, SPA approaches, micro-frontend architecture, and software design patterns.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, RTL, or Cypress.
- Familiarity with build systems, CI/CD, and modern software engineering practices.
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases, TypeScript, GeoJSON, or the OpenStreetMap tools ecosystem is preferred.
- Experience with Jira or other project management tools is preferred.
