Base Salary

$499k - $900k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop inventory management systems supporting dynamic pricing, rate card management, product packaging, inventory segmentation, and yield optimization.
  • Build systems for inventory valuation, auction mechanics, reserve pricing, sell-through rates, fill-rate optimization, and revenue maximization.
  • Design data models, platform abstractions, and public APIs for interoperability with internal ads platform teams and external order management systems.
  • Provide technical leadership across multiple teams, set architectural direction, and influence cross-functional roadmaps.
  • Mentor colleagues and collaborate effectively with advertising, platform, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software development experience, including at least 5 years developing inventory management systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise building yield optimization systems and deep knowledge of inventory valuation.
  • Experience with dynamic pricing, sell-through rates, rate cards, inventory segmentation and packaging, and yield management.
  • Strong understanding of auction mechanics and experience building reserve-pricing systems.
  • Understanding of the advertising marketplace, especially publisher-side inventory management challenges.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship-building, mentoring, and prioritization skills.
  • Preferred experience contributing to advertising technology standards such as VAST or OpenRTB, participating in industry consortiums or working groups, understanding global advertising regulations, or working in Connected TV.

  • Annual salary and stock option compensation structure with a stated base salary range of $499,000.00–$900,000.00 and no bonuses.
