Responsibilities
- Design and build data pipelines and the data layer.
- Develop and maintain computational frameworks and infrastructure that run quantitative strategies at scale.
- Implement and enhance software systems for financial data, research, portfolio construction, and trading.
- Partner hands-on with researchers and quants to turn ideas into robust production solutions.
- Work across the systematic and quantitative business lifecycle, from data ingestion through research and implementation.
- Build and integrate LLM agents, copilots, and automation into engineering and research workflows.
- Use AI coding assistants and agentic developer tools to improve software delivery quality and speed.
Requirements
- Degree in a technical or quantitative discipline from a top-tier institution.
- 3 to 8 years of working experience in software engineering.
- Programming ability in Python or C++ on Linux/Unix platforms and familiarity with scripting languages.
- Experience with code version control and continuous integration and deployment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving ability, judgment, and attention to detail.
- Collaborative, mature, thoughtful, and motivated by technology at scale.
- Experience with AI technologies such as LLMs and agentic AI is beneficial.
- Finance experience is a plus but not required.
