Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and execute manual and automated tests across integration, system, functional, exploratory, regression, smoke, and sanity testing levels.
- Create and maintain release test plans, test strategy documents, manual and automated test suites, and QA process documentation.
- Build and maintain mobile test automation frameworks and automated UI tests for Android and iOS applications.
- Produce defect metrics and reporting, identify risks and blockers early, and own the testing process within the team.
- Participate in QA ceremonies, bug triage, product demonstrations, QA guild activities, tool evaluations, process development, and new-hire training.
- Mentor and guide peers, perform code reviews, promote QA best practices, and participate in QA hiring and enablement.
- Collaborate with customers and business and technical stakeholders to ensure quality implementation throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills and the ability to mediate between business and technical teams.
- Strong programming skills in Java and experience testing across Mac OS and Windows.
- Experience with Android Studio, Xcode, Android and iOS, and end-to-end testing of mobile applications.
- Hands-on experience configuring, maintaining, and using Appium servers and creating mobile automation frameworks with Appium.
- Experience designing and developing automated UI tests with XCUI, Espresso, Selenium, and Appium.
- Experience with cloud-based testing infrastructure such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, and LambdaTest.
- Experience testing APIs with Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
- Understanding of continuous integration and end-to-end automated testing for web and mobile applications.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, version control systems including SVN, Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with accessibility, localization, cross-browser, and cross-platform non-functional testing.
- Familiarity with defect management tools such as Jira.
- Understanding of exploratory testing, Agile methodologies, and QA standards and practices.
- For the principal/senior scope, ability to mentor peers, conduct code reviews, and participate in QA hiring and enablement.
