Responsibilities
- Build and evolve database models across relational and NoSQL databases for scheduling, invoicing, crew management, and other core platform features.
- Integrate and manage cloud services and external platforms for CRM, accounting, search, and AI capabilities.
- Create responsive and accessible UI components aligned with the company design system.
- Develop message-driven processing pipelines and serverless automation for asynchronous workflows, billing cycles, and system maintenance.
- Own complex multi-step forms for job creation, invoicing, and customer onboarding.
- Write and maintain comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests with high code coverage and CI integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems.
- 5–8 years of professional full-stack development experience.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build tools such as Webpack, Azure Pipelines, or GitHub Actions.
- Expert proficiency with a modern JavaScript framework such as React and TypeScript, plus strong Redux state-management experience.
- Experience integrating cloud-based authentication and storage services such as AWS Amplify or Cognito.
- Proficiency with responsive design, Bootstrap or CSS-in-JS approaches such as Styled Components, and accessibility awareness including WCAG 2.1 AA.
- Hands-on Cypress end-to-end testing experience, including intercepts, custom commands, and CI integration.
- Expert proficiency with Node.js and Express.js or comparable server-side frameworks for production REST APIs.
- Strong experience with MongoDB/Mongoose, MySQL/Sequelize, query optimization, and indexing.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, and CloudWatch or equivalent platforms.
- Understanding of asynchronous programming with Promises and async/await.
- Proficiency with Mocha, Chai, Sinon, or equivalent testing frameworks.
- Understanding of REST API design, JWT, OAuth 2.0, authentication mechanisms, and security best practices.
- Preferred experience includes scheduling or drag-and-drop UI libraries, React Query/TanStack Query, Chart.js or D3.js, React Native, jsPDF or html2canvas, Salesforce or QuickBooks integrations, SonarQube, and AI development tools such as Copilot CLI or Claude Code.
