Responsibilities
- Build well-scoped features for AxisCare’s home care SaaS platform with mentorship from senior and staff engineers.
- Use AI tools for prototyping, exploration, refactoring, test writing, and software delivery, while evaluating their strengths and limitations.
- Understand home care agency customers and operations to solve meaningful product problems.
- Ship high-quality software that is reliable in production and easy to change.
- Manage time effectively, communicate clearly in writing, and share technical learnings with the team.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional experience building web applications with the full PHP stack, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience building React applications in TypeScript.
- Working knowledge of object-oriented programming and relational databases such as MySQL.
- Comfort with Git and collaborative software development.
- Demonstrated, substantive use of AI coding tools in real projects, with concrete examples and an informed perspective on their benefits and limitations.
- A collaborative, humble, and continuously learning approach to software development.
- Based in the U.S. Eastern, Central, or Mountain time zones and authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada.
