Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platforms using AWS or GCP.
- Architect, deploy, manage, and troubleshoot production-grade Kubernetes clusters supporting containerized applications.
- Define and enforce cloud standards, architecture patterns, and best practices across the organization.
- Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code frameworks with Terraform and drive infrastructure automation.
- Establish and evolve CI/CD pipelines and champion DevOps and GitOps practices.
- Manage cloud operations including monitoring, logging, alerting, backup, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.
- Implement cloud security practices covering identity and access management, network segmentation, encryption, and compliance controls.
- Own cloud cost management, budgeting, forecasting, optimization, and resource governance.
- Provide technical leadership and cross-functional support for cloud technologies and document architectures, runbooks, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure roles with senior-level responsibility.
- Deep hands-on experience with AWS or GCP in production-scale environments.
- Expert-level experience with Terraform and infrastructure automation.
- Extensive experience designing, deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Docker and Kubernetes environments at scale.
- Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting and automation.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including IAM, network security, encryption, and compliance.
- Strong problem-solving, independent working, project management, and technical communication skills.
