Responsibilities
- Build AI systems and solutions using machine learning, deep learning, and LLM technologies.
- Prototype ML models with Python, NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
- Apply supervised and unsupervised learning, feature engineering, model selection, cross-validation, ensemble methods, and deep learning techniques.
- Work with Hugging Face Transformers, tokenizers, embeddings, model fine-tuning, prompt engineering, function/tool calling, and JSON schema outputs.
- Develop or support retrieval-augmented generation workflows using vector databases.
- Perform data wrangling and pipeline-related work using SQL and related tools.
- Experiment with AI approaches and communicate ML/LLM trade-offs clearly.
Requirements
- Doctorate and 5 years of related work experience, or a master’s degree and 8 years, or a bachelor’s degree and 7 years, building AI systems and solutions.
- Strong Python, data structures, and algorithms skills.
- Hands-on experience with NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn for ML prototyping.
- Understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning, regularization, feature engineering, model selection, cross-validation, ensemble methods, XGBoost, and LightGBM.
- Proficiency with PyTorch or TensorFlow/Keras and knowledge of CNNs, RNNs, LSTMs, Transformers, and attention mechanisms.
- Familiarity with optimization methods, dropout, and batch normalization.
- Experience or familiarity with Hugging Face Transformers, vector databases, prompt engineering, function/tool calling, and JSON schema outputs.
- SQL fundamentals and exposure to data wrangling and pipelines.
- Experience with Git/GitHub, Jupyter, and basic Docker.
- Strong applied ML/deep learning foundation, curiosity, communication skills, problem-solving ability, and ownership mindset.
