Base Salary
$191k - $263k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain performant, reliable, and scalable backend services.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define and implement new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Develop automated tests, troubleshoot issues, and improve codebase reliability.
- Perform hands-on coding and architectural design while maintaining high technical standards.
- Mentor junior engineers, review technical documents and code changes, and help grow the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with a proven record of shipping successful projects.
- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
- Experience working with microservices.
- Excellent coding, testing, and system design skills.
- Cross-functional collaboration, communication, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and experience mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
- Ability to work with operations, product, design, and data science teams.
