Responsibilities
- Set up, improve, and innovate application and customer-experience monitoring.
- Maintain monitoring principles and drive the overall Customer Experience Monitoring framework.
- Analyze production data, perform audits, identify monitoring gaps, and create reports for stakeholders.
- Use Dynatrace and Splunk dashboards to measure performance and scalability.
- Help teams adopt monitoring practices and translate application monitoring needs into requirements.
- Review monitoring outcomes with product teams and support data-driven improvements.
- Collaborate with operations, developers, technical teams, and product teams on performance testing and monitoring.
- Assess how new functionality and services affect monitoring needs across the customer journey and e-commerce system layers.
- Explore AI-supported insights and innovative technologies to improve application experience monitoring.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of work experience in Application Monitoring.
- Previous experience with Application Monitoring Engineering and monitoring tools.
- Professional experience with Splunk and API architecture is required.
- Good knowledge of OpenTelemetry, Dynatrace, JMeter, and mPulse or similar tools.
- Experience collaborating with functional developers and technical teams to define application monitoring requirements.
- Ability to analyze customer experience and site performance across front-end, app, cloud front end, and backend layers.
- Strong communication skills for supporting multiple product teams.
- Understanding of retail, e-commerce, and large international organizations is beneficial.
- Very good understanding of microservice/API architecture effects on monitoring and holistic visibility is beneficial.
- Hands-on cloud DevOps experience, agile development experience, and understanding of logs, metrics, and traces are beneficial.
- Front-end development experience and performance testing tool experience are advantageous.
