Base Salary
$70k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement robust, scalable, high-performance database solutions using Kinetica.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and Python User-Defined Functions to support application requirements.
- Tune and optimize Kinetica queries and data structures for real-time processing.
- Use native Kinetica APIs and Python UDFs to implement business logic and data-processing pipelines.
- Serve as the Kinetica subject matter expert for geospatial analysis, graph analytics using GSQL, and time-series functions.
- Design and manage data models and schemas and oversee efficient data ingestion pipelines.
- Collaborate with data scientists, application developers, and business analysts to provide database solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in database development.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Kinetica DB.
- In-depth knowledge of Kinetica’s in-memory, GPU-accelerated architecture.
- Proven expertise in Kinetica performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience developing Python User-Defined Functions and handling time-series data.
- Proficiency in Kinetica administration, monitoring, and security management.
- Expert-level SQL skills.
