Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and implement security controls for AI/ML models, including data protection, model integrity, and adversarial attack mitigation.
- Secure AI/ML data pipelines and workflows, including model training and deployment.
- Design and maintain secure AWS architectures using AWS SageMaker, Lambda, S3, IAM, encryption, and network security controls.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, threats, adversarial attacks, and data breaches affecting AI/ML systems.
- Develop AI governance frameworks, security policies, risk assessments, audits, and incident response plans.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, ML Engineers, DevOps Engineers, security leadership, and project management to embed security throughout the AI/ML lifecycle.
- Provide AI security guidance and training to team members and support delivery of security milestones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 5 years of cybersecurity experience, including at least 2 years securing AI/ML systems or cloud-based environments.
- Hands-on experience with AWS security tools and services, including IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, and GuardDuty.
- Familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and the security implications of AI/ML frameworks.
- Experience developing or implementing security policies and governance frameworks.
- Knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA, and their application to AI systems.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Certified Ethical Hacker, and Certified AI Practitioner or equivalent.
- Experience with secure coding, vulnerability management, Linux-based systems, Python, Bash, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of AI-specific risks such as model inversion, data poisoning, and adversarial attacks.
- Experience in biotechnology or healthcare, including FDA and HIPAA regulatory compliance, and familiarity with AI ethics and governance frameworks.
- Prior experience with large-scale AI/ML projects in cloud environments.
